IMARC in Melbourne is fast becoming the largest mining conference in the Asia Pacific and a key fixture on the global mining calendar. IMARC 2018 brought together the world’s foremost leaders from the private and public
sectors of the international mining and resources industry, with over 6000 delegates from 92 countries, including 36 international mining ministers.
IMARC 2019 is expected to attract an even larger and more diverse audience as the Victorian Government continues to broaden its engagement with leading international resource companies and industry associations. A large number of delegates are expected to participate from the Middle East, Africa, Russia and CIS in addition to India, China and Latin America.
The resources industry is an important driver of the Australian economy and it is fundamental to Victoria’s trade and engagement with the world. Hosted in collaboration with Australia’s leading industry associations, including the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and Austmine, the conference facilitates robust discussion among Australian and international mining experts, CEOs, government representatives and industry leaders.
